It’s Your Water Posts #66
By: Denise UrbansOur podcasts are informational and have an audience of water treatment professionals. Has It’s Your Water impacted sales? Yes, our business is growing but I can’t attribute all the growth to the podcast. It lends to our credibility and we have fun doing them. So why not?
The easiest part of doing a podcast is the interview. The real work begins after it’s recorded.
Here is the process:
- Choose a guest.
- Record the podcast.
- Send the podcast for mixing and editing. We use Resonate Recordings.
- Send it out for transcription.
- Use the transcription to highlight the necessary edits – remove the um’s & you knows.
- Send back to the transcription service to get it time stamped.
- Send time stamps back to Resonate Recordings for final edits.
- Create the show notes if it has good information to post on urbansaqua.com.
- Schedule the podcast and launch.
- Post the podcast to our Facebook & Instagram.
Finally, the hardest metric to improve is followers. If you listen, please follow our podcast!
It’s a lot of work but we enjoy doing it.
Here are 2 recent podcasts we did with dealers.
